Renfrew Community Association Mural
Whimsy, joy, beauty and hope. This is the title and theme of the public art mural created in June 2022 in the Renfrew community of North East Calgary.
Thanks to a community-run microgrant from Calgary Arts Development, Calgary artist Billie Rae Busby has been commissioned for a hand-painted mural on the south patio wall of the Renfrew Community Association building. The custom mural showcases colour and energy, using Billie Rae’s signature abstract landscape painting style. Several Renfrew residents volunteered their time to support and help complete the painting of this unique community project.
